My five year old brother plays the Warriors too. I guess it really depends on if he knows not to go around repeating what he hears. My little bro hears stuff on the game, but he hears it elsewhere too. He says some of it but he doesn't know what it means. If your bro knows what he's talking about, and still does it, it might not be a good idea fror him to continue playing. But on the other hand, he already has it in his head.
Is it the violence or the language you're concered about? Or just the general concept of the game? If it's such of a concern, take it away.
It's all up to you, but you have got to watch it with those little minds.

Re: is this wrong guys?
i don't think you should let him play it.what if he gets violent when he's older?
Re: is this wrong guys?
if u get yelled at for letting him play i dont think u should let him... although ... i think explict content that the game offers is the best way to prepare him for what the world really has to offer... if he's watching "Barney & Friends" he thinks life is all fun and games... while fighting cursing ect is realley what the world has to offer ! after all its just a game!

...Miracles is the way things ought to be.

I think it's your choice whether to let your brother play, and if you think he can handle it, then that's fine. I think it all depends on the kids, some can handle this stuff better than others, and most are aware that it's not real life. I do think it's good that you know what's in the game already before letting him play, rather than him just getting hold of something you don't know about.
My youngest brother had GTA Vice City at about seven or eight, and still plays games not rated for him, and I was the same with movies and games when I was younger. There are still some things I would not want young kids seeing though.

the way i see it is, if they dont learn it off family they will learn at school etc, and just life in general violence and bad language and drug use is everywhere these days theres no escape no matter wot u dont show a child so i say sack it let em see it if they dnt learn it from around u they will certainly find out else where

Your brother = me when I grow up.Scurvy Dog wrote: My brother (age 31) has the game, and he plays it in front of his son (age 6). I don't think that's right, given the profanity and drug usage in the game. If he sees that dad thinks that's cool, then he'll think it's cool (and he idolizes his dad).
Then again, my brother also watches Family Guy in front of his son.

No I don't think its wrong with all the stuff kids are exposed to these on television and movies and games so I don't think its wrong to let him play The Warriors its only a game unless he actually takes it serious.

Exactley, what would be the point of taking it away. All the stuff on movies and games these days, seriously.Swan 1979 wrote: No I don't think its wrong with all the stuff kids are exposed to these on television and movies and games so I don't think its wrong to let him play The Warriors its only a game unless he actually takes it serious.

I say let him play the game. My litle 8 year old cuzin plays it all the time and wen i go round his house its virtually all we do. My mam and aunty are kinda angry at me coz i bought him the game for his bday but him and my uncle play it all the time and my little cuzins just fine except he gets in more fights. Hope thats not my fault lol
