Green Street Hooligans,Not a patch on The Warriors its just another football violence movie and not all that true to life,Saying that i thought it was ok but not as good as The Football Factory if you like this kinda thing.
But agree with first post that would be kinda cool ;)

London 1979.  The big meeting at hyde park. Some of the gangs in attendance: The bowler hats. The cricket crazies. The septic punks (traditional punk rockers with mohawk hair cuts).  The equivelant of the turnbulls could go round in a red double decker bus.  There could be a gang consisting of people claiming to be the illigitimet children of the royal family, calling themselves the blue bloods.  Instead of the orphans, we could have The urchins.

It would be nice if some fans of the Warriors would make a movie like that.
I can't make it!
You sure?
Yeah, I'm sure.

There's already a Scottish low budget Warriors ripoff movie called the Purifiers with Kevin McKidd and one of the guys from Lost (couldn't tell you his name, I hate Lost). It's more martial arts than the Warriors, and some of the gang styles are pretty lame like a bunch of guys in white with flashing light up crucifix symbols on their shirts.

Look for it if you really have to, just don't expect very much.

Ive heard that that movie is pathetic and absolute rubbish with horrible camera picture quality.

Doing an English version of The Warriors is a horrible idea. You'd have sigh every time they replaced idiot with daft.

The Warriors will always be better left American.
