Re: the english premiership thread
i think ya right deano their best opportunity for many a year to really stick it to them, not sure if they will but i agree it will be a stonker of a game.
we seriously need something against derby just to shake the monkey off the back hahaah if not i think mutley could be shown the door,i hope not but you just dont get the time these days!we'll be ok when we get all our injuries back, our whole back 4 nearly is injured(1st choice back 4) apart from chimbonda!
to add to what badger was saying about the gooners,i think da silva will get a shed load of goals this season.i put him and darren bent upfront in my dream team along with dean ashton!

God i wish we'd stop playing Lehmann in goal. he's way past his peak, and he's made a mistake in both games which have leds to the opposition scoring

Re: the english premiership thread
You know what ive got a feeling Bolton aernt gonna do to well this year with Sammy Lee as there manager.
He was an excellent coach at Liverpool.
And also at Bolton.
But i dont think he can cut it as a manger.
I also Reckon Newcastle will start to climb back up again this year.
As for Liverpool . .
COME ON THE REDS!

Yeah im backing arsenal at the weekend.
Sunderland away for livepool.
Should be able to comfortably win it.
Any game away from home is a toughy though

Re: the english premiership thread
bolton will go down i think in all honesty.big sam was THE major factor in their sucess.
i think this season more than any before we're going to see "2nd tier teams"as they like to call them take alot of points from the so-called big 4.nearly every team has strengthened and strengthened well!i think this season will be full of shock results!
(well,atleast i hope so hahah)

More problems for Bolton, west ham look set to buy their striker el-hadj diouf. They will still have Anelka but its just a matter of time before he goes to a bigger club.

Manchester united are the best team i reckon they have had some great players like roy keane ruad van nistlerooy and their future best player wayne rooney. And we cant forget cristiano ronaldo and ryan giggs they are great players man united strarted in 1868 and they are the most successful team in the league they have won it 9 times and there manager alex ferguson but they are doing really bad this year so far they are coming second last on the ladder hopefully they win against tottenham tonight.

Your right there mate, in my oppinion Tottenham was the better team.. Same old Man U, they always do it.. A team will get the better of them and they'll always slip them sly goals in. Always happens to Liverpool.yids-warrior wrote:once again for those who are not listening or refuse to belive it!!ajax the warrior wrote: Manchester united are the best team i reckon they have had some great players like roy keane ruad van nistlerooy and their future best player wayne rooney.
