La-La Land Records have released a special edition soundtrack for The Warriors featuring a remastering of the original A&M album tracks and the addition of 11 new tracks from Barry de Vorzon. The CD, which is limited to 3,000 units, contains material from de Vorzon that was cut from the film, but also includes new tracks that made it into the movie but were omitted from the original soundtrack release. This includes the eerie opening Wonder Wheel theme, music from the graveyard scene, punks fight, and arrival back at Coney Island. The CD also contains a really nice booklet featuring new insights from the movie and soundtrack as well as some unseen production photos. I recommend all fans of the movie grab their copy now before it sells out.
