Roger Hill, the actor who played iconic character Cyrus, sadly passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday 20th February 2014. He is survived by his son, film editor, Chris W. Hill. Roger kindly gave an interview for the site a few years ago which you can view here. Roger enjoyed being part of the movie, and famously got the part after the original actor failed to show up on set. He also had one of the most iconic lines with “Can you dig it?”. After the movie, Roger became a part-time librarian and poet but regularly attended screenings and fan meet ups for the film.
